GEOMETRY Review -- We have had so many requests for a Geometry review this year that we will be doing a special review in August, using the "Geometry for Fun and Challenge" textbook, popular in many of the area high schools, including Weston, Wayland and Sudbury.

Educating Children from Preschool through 12th Grade

Getting Started

Either in your initial phone call with our director, or in
your personal interview at the center, we will review your plans and goals for your child. You may either schedule an individual time for the initial evaluation, or you may drop in at 2:30-3:30 PM on Monday, in Weston, or @3:00 PM in Wayland, on Wednesdays. (See the Contact Us section for directions.) If you leave us a message, either through the Contact Us section, or by calling our director, we will ensure that the appropriate evaluation materials are ready to go before you get there.

At the free evaluation we will work with your child to get an understanding of his or her strengths and weaknesses. Our job at this point is to relax your student, get an understanding of where he or she should begin the practice routine, and to answer questions you or your student may have. As we tell students, this is a chance for us to understand what is 'easy or hard' for them, and to see where practice might help. We also tell them that we want them to start at a point that will feel easy, as our goal is to have each student achieve mastery of subject matter, rather than merely touching on a given concept.
